Meltt is an alternative indie-rock band from Vancouver, Canada. Their single Deeper Water is taken from their LP titled Swim Slowly, released in September 2019.

This track is immediately catchy with its hooks and plucked guitar riffs that drive the song forwards into a high energy chorus. The harmonies and polyphonic rhythms are reminiscent of Foals during their Antidote/ Holy Fire era; every instrument featured on this track work in harmony to generate warm tones that guide the listener through each section. The lyrics are contemplative and honest, making this a relatable song that amplifies the feeling of escapism found in the backing instrumentals with its soaring melodies and thundering percussion.
