'Feel Alive' is the brand new single from Glasgow/Edinburgh-based indie-rock band, Kamora. Produced by Jamie Holmes at Castle Doom Studios, 'Feel Alive' is an explosive single with punchy vocals and infectious, anthemic melodic hooks.
Following the band's previous singles including 'Careful' and '24', Kamora have refined their sound with sophisticated melodic structure and tight riffs that form the core of the band's musical style. From the beginning the listener is welcomed by an eruption of heavy bass and guitar accompanied by a steady percussive beat that crescendos into a short instrumental break that sonically draws influence from bands like Foals (especially their album 'Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Pt.1 &2 with songs like 'Black Bull'). A highlight from the track is the isolated vocals at the bridge; the sudden silence of the accompanying instrumental allow the vocals to build suspense and momentum leading into the final chorus. When combined together the subtle stylistic choices and crisp production make this a cohesive and engaging track, an anthem that would sound incredible when performed live.
