Enfers are back with their brand-new single 'Infants', a fun synth-based single that explores themes related to growing up and a persona who refuses to take responsibility as they mature into their late-adolescence. The single marks a new era that follows the band's debut EP 'Come When They Call Labour' released in 2021.
Written by members Sam Donley and Jonny Martin, 'Infants' blends the band's love of synths with the nostalgia of 70s/80s music, making this a track that will appeal to a wide audience. The track commences with catchy indie-pop guitar melodies and heavy synth production that nicely carries the instrumentation explored in the band's debut EP 'Come When They Call Labour'. With swooping riffs and melodies all encompassed within Donley's distinctive vocals, 'Infants' is a triumphant return for the exciting upcoming Leeds indie-quartet. For fans of Enfers, 'Infants' continues to showcase the band's mature and sophisticated songwriting alongside their talent for crafting memorable melodies that draw the listener into their music.
