Hi everyone,
I hope you're all safe and well. I can't believe that it is September; summer went by so quickly, it is starting to feel like autumn here in the UK (update: there is now another heatwave....)
I spent the summer months at home, writing my blog, sending letters to my friends and planning for the year ahead. Talking to my friends, it seems that most post-graduates are currently feeling slightly stressed and scared about the future. A friend told me that it is important to take risks and that "Whatever happens, the sky won't fall in." Of course, it is easier said than done. Apart from having a post-grad existential crisis, I am looking forward to the new term. I have plenty of fascinating interviews coming soon that I can't wait to share with you guys.
Until the next blog update, take care and stay safe!

A summery song with a light xylophone melody that will be stuck in your head for days!
Currently Reading... 'The Complete Illustrated Works of Hans Christian Andersen'
I started to read some Hans Christian Andersen after listening to an episode of 'You're Dead To Me' a historical podcast that is both funny and educational.
Currently Watching... Three Star Bar in Nishi OgiKubo
This summer I have been watching a lot of Japanese dramas, and this was my favourite. It's about three high school friends who work together at a cocktail bar. After the owner's grandfather passes away, they agree to keep the bar open until every can of food left on the bar shelf has been eaten. Every episode has a different story as numerous customers come to the bar and talk to the main barman played by Machida Keita. (If you love food and drink then you'll like this!)
