APRE are an English alternative indie-pop duo formed in 2018 consisting of members Charlie Brown, and Jules Konieczny. Without Your Love is a single taken from their debut album titled Always In My Head (2020) via Polydor Records.

Without Your Love opens with a catchy hook, complimented by picked guitar chords that form the basis of the melody. Having first heard APRE's music through their single All Yours, this song moves towards a more guitar-based sound that experiments with fast spoken lyrics that add syncopation and rhythm to the background instrumental. Throughout the song, there is a nice balance between vocals and instrumental breaks, making this a groovy 80s inspired track. What I like about their music is that the lyricism is frank and honest, making their tracks very relatable.
