XY&O is a haze pop trio from Cardiff, their new single ‘Wrap Around Me’ fuses dance and pop music to create an upbeat summer anthem.
The song explores the desire to be close to someone with Curtis (lead singer) questioning “I don’t know why we’ve been waiting. Why did we ever delay?”. The song is instantly catchy with a pulsing synth progression and thumping drum beat in the pre-chorus that builds up to an energetic chorus.
‘Wrap Around Me’ displays the band’s growth over the last few years and the accompanying music video shows the dedication and hard work that goes into their music. The band is currently working on their debut album which is expected later this year.
