Bastille 'From All Sides' at Utilita Arena Cardiff (Review)

Bastille are back with their new tour ‘From All Sides,’ celebrating 15 years of music, from their hit ‘Pompeii’ to a preview of their latest song ‘Save My Soul.’

As a longtime fan, this concert felt like a nostalgic journey, with the band reflecting on their career and providing fans with a varied setlist that featured songs that haven't been performed live for a while. The last time I saw Bastille was in 2016 during their Wild World tour at the same venue, then known as Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff. 'From All Sides'

featured tracks from ‘Bad Blood’ and mostly their second album ‘Wild World,’ and I was thrilled to hear an acoustic version of ‘The Anchor,’ (which in my opinion is so underrated).

The Other People’s Heartache DJ set was an unexpected surprise, perfectly bridging the acoustic sections and heavier tracks like ‘Blame’ and ‘What You Gonna Do???.’ The Cardiff crowd were energetic, dancing and cheering throughout the night, making it a fantastic celebration of the band’s journey so far. Having recently attended the acoustic Ampersand show in August, this performance served as a wonderful reminder of just how far Bastille have come. If you haven't seen Bastille perform live, I would highly recommend getting tickets to see them at the 'From All Sides' tour! You don't want to miss out!!
