'Beautiful Moments' is the new EP by London-based singer-songwriter Elisha Ferguson. This collection of songs reflects the changing seasons and serves as a love letter to Cornwall, filled with nostalgic memories and introspective lyrics.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Elisha since our university days when we both performed as musicians in Falmouth. I have always admired her as a songwriter, particularly her talent in crafting catchy hooks and engaging the crowd during live shows. "Addicted to the Ocean" has long been a fan favourite, and the version featured on the EP is enhanced by the accompanying synth riff and string arrangement. The EP also features production from Elisha's long-time collaborator and friend Ed Woodiwiss, who has previously worked with Ferguson on her projects at university.
More recent singles like "Time Flew" and "Beautiful Moments" read like heartfelt letters, deeply personal and reflective of life's changes. The cyclical nature of the EP guides listeners through the songs, which Elisha describes as "glimpses in time, bridging the gaps between significant points of personal growth in my life." Filled with memories of both the past and present, "Beautiful Moments" serves as a time capsule marking the beginning of an exciting new era for this talented London-based musician.
