'Bike In L.A.' by Rikas

"Bike in L.A." is a track taken from Rikas recent sophomore album, "Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet." Established in early 2015, Rikas have garnered an impressive following since the release of their debut album, "Showtime," which introduced listeners to their quirky lyrical style and feel-good melodies.

The Berlin-based indie-quartets single 'Bike in L.A' captures the challenges faced by independent artists, using the imagery of a bicycle to reflect the barriers encountered by those pursuing their dreams alongside the vastness of the Californian landscape. "Bike in L.A." beautifully captures the relaxed and carefree spirit of California while the lyrics explores the importance of patience and determination when it comes to being creative in a competitive industry. This song is my first introduction to the band, and is definitely my favourite from the album and I would highly recommend checking out Rika's music on Spotify!
