Luke McAuley’s debut EP Change captures the feeling of new beginnings, opening with a gentle acoustic introduction and stripped‑back production that marks a shift from McAuley's previous work with Region. The EP features coming‑of‑age lyricism running throughout the collection of songs with an almost Hippo Campus-esque tone that makes the songs familiar and relatable.

McAuley reflects on lost connections, fresh starts and the lingering 'what‑ifs ' that shape relationships. As the EP builds toward its soaring finale, McAuley steps confidently into the indie‑folk sphere. Change is a cohesive, quietly ambitious debut and a strong indication that he’s an artist worth keeping an eye on.
