The TS5 Album Release Show was a fantastic celebration of Craig David’s new album ‘Commitment’ and featured songs that captured the span of his 25 year career, from slow ballads to fan favourites. Set in the underground venue of Outernet in London, David’s TS5 set brought nostalgic classics alongside performances of his latest single ‘Commitment’ and’ So Special’.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the TS5 album release show, but it was an incredible eclectic mix of 90s classics intertwined with modern pop/garage which David mixes live on stage. Throughout the TS5 set, David spoke to his fans and humbly thanked them for supporting him since the release of ‘Born to Do It’ (2000). There were fans who had travelled far and queued for hours outside the venue but were still energetic throughout the set. The crowd and vibes were electric- with everyone dancing, singing and leaving David overwhelmed by the support between songs.

The venue of Outernet was a great space for the performance, which was thankfully very well ventilated, keeping out the scorching 35 degree heatwave. With a copy of ‘Commitment’ in hand, this album release event and performance from Craig David was hands down one of the best live performances I’ve seen. If you’re looking for a fun night out or are a fan of Craig David, then I would highly recommend going!
