Japanese dance-vocal group Da-iCE have released a new music video for their single 'Funky Jumping' in collaboration with Capcom's forthcoming multi-player virtual game, EXOPRIMAL.
Taken from their latest album 'SCENE', the track was written by lead vocalist Sota Hanamura and features choreography by KAZtheFIRE, known for his work with BEFIRST, J SOUL BROTHERS III and K-pop group Stray Kids. The music video features EXOPRIMAL robots and an immersive apocalyptic digital backdrop, showcasing the game's appeal to the viewers. The single's robotic and syncopated instrumentation brings a dystopian feel to the music video that compliments the game's visuals and story. Since the success of their single 'Dreamin' On' which featured as the theme song for anime 'ONE PIECE', the group's music has been featured in several popular dramas with the members also providing vocals for fictional band 4*Town as part of the Japanese-version of Pixar's film 'Turning Red' (2022). Their latest collaboration continues to demonstrate the versality in their discography which makes them a popular choice across different creative industries. Da-iCE's new music video is an example of how to achieve a successful collaboration with 'Funky Jumping' providing an immersive advert that appeals to both gamers and music fans.
