Katie Rush's single 'Natural Mystics' is an 80's inspired dance groove, that captures the nostalgic escapism of the past whilst feeling futuristic. The stereo distorted vocals is a strong component in the overall instrumental, it effectively maintains the listeners attention throughout even though the song is over 4 mins. The highlight of the song is the pre-chorus leading into the chorus, it is here where the vocals really soar with the accompanying synth bass bringing an extra drive to the melody. Overall, this is a fun, disco inspired song and I am looking forward to hearing what Rush releases next!
