[O M N I N T] by datshredboi (Album Review)

Featuring seven instrumental tracks, [O M N I N T] is the new album from electronic-experimental artist, datshredboi.

Known for building immersive soundscapes, datshredboi's latest album features a selection of tracks that evokes feelings of trepidation wrapped in dissonant melodies that adds a cinematic quality to their production.

'[O M N I N T]' is an electronic album inspired by artists such as 'Boards of Canada' and 'Aphex Twin', with its experimental and lo-fi sound. The concept of the album itself is solely to evoke a nostalgic but uneasy feeling, something that I've always endeavoured to capture in my projects."- datshredboi

[CRAWL SPACE II] and [HEISAFRAID] showcases datshredboi's interest in exploring experimental horror, with the sampled vocals bringing an almost dystopian feel to the album reminiscent of tracks like 'Lornaderek' taken from Aphex Twin's 2001 album 'Drukqs'. [O M N I N T] compliments datshredboi's previous release [NOSTALIA] and continues to intrigue listeners with intricately layered samples and sounds that adds to the uniqueness of datshredboi's discography.
