Following the success of 'Writing On The Walls' and a busy year of live gigs, Leeds-based indie quartet Wolforna are back with their brand-new single 'Reset'. Building upon the foundation of their hard-rock roots, the band return with an explosive new single featuring fierce guitar riffs and raging vocals that ensnare the listener.
Depicting a whirlwind of emotions, 'Reset' blends nostalgic rock 'n' roll melodies with a subtle modern twist with the instrumental breaks showcasing sophisticated melodic structure. From the very beginning, the listener is guided through a storm of powerful riffs and vocals that suddenly breaks into a stunning instrumental break that builds momentum leading into the final chorus. This slight pause is a surprising twist that breaks the structure and allows the band to sonically delve into new territory. Throughout the song, 'Reset' experiments with vocal production and places emphasis on the band's instrumental talent, with the guitar solos taking centre stage, allowing the listener to fully immerse themselves within the song. This is a nice change from their previous work that doesn't stray too far from their roots, but moves the band forwards into their new and exciting era.
