The Japanese dance-group, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE have released their latest single called '片隅'. This single will be the theme song for the movie 'MY (K)NIGHT', which features RAMPAGE vocalists Kazuma Kawamura, Hokuto Yoshino, and RIKU. The group have also released a new music video that perfectly captures the nocturnal and sensual mood of the track (see link below).
Upon listening to the song for the first time, the build-up of the string arrangement in conjunction with the gentle percussion establishes the mood for the remainder of the single. If you happen to enjoy their previous releases such as 'So Good', 'My Prayer', or 'Invisible Love', then I believe you will appreciate the vocal sensuality in combination with the night-time atmosphere of the production. '片隅' has become one of my favourite songs by THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, it encapsulates the juxtaposition of the group's fierce image with the softness of the vocals. You can listen to the single in the link above or hear the song in full on my Spotify Reviews Playlist (link in bio).

My current fav RAMPAGE song.....'FAST LANE'
If you are not yet familiar with THE RAMPAGE's discography, I highly recommend checking out their album 'REBOOT'. The album features one of my favourite songs, 'FAST LANE', co-written by vocalist Kazuma Kawamura. The track boasts hip-hop influences that perfectly capture the group's impeccable choreography and remarkable stage presence. You can also read my 'Introducing...' post that features my favourite RAMPAGE songs and music videos!
